Sales Development Representative
Location: North Carolina / South Carolina
Reports to: Sales Manager
Wallace Distribution is seeking a proactive and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to support our business growth in the wholesale hardware industry. The SDR will play a critical role in identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, generating leads, and initiating relationships with prospective customers. This position serves as the first point of contact in the sales pipeline and is ideal for individuals with strong communication skills and a passion for building customer relationships.

Daily Tasks Include:
- Identify potential customers through market research, online tools, and inbound inquiries
- Build and manage a pipeline of leads within assigned territories or verticals
- Conduct outbound calls, emails, and social outreach to introduce the company's products and value proposition
- Engage with prospects to understand their hardware needs, purchasing habits, and decision-making process
- Schedule appointments or product demonstrations for Dealer Account Executives or Outside Sales Reps
- Collaborate with sales team members to develop strategies for target accounts
- Assist in creating and customizing sales presentations, quotes, and marketing materials
- Maintain updated records of customer interactions and lead status in the CRM system
- Follow up on warm leads generated from trade shows, marketing campaigns, or website inquiries
- Educate potential clients on product features, pricing tiers, and service offerings
- Stay informed about trends in the wholesale hardware market, competitor activity, and customer needs
- Provide feedback to marketing and product teams to refine messaging and offerings
Education:
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing, or related field is preferred
