Welcome to the Wallace Storefront! This guide will help you navigate our Storefront and find exactly what you need.

HOW TO SEARCH AND FIND PRODUCT EASIER

1. Use the Search Bar Effectively!

Located at the top of every page, our Smart Search bar is the fastest way to find product.

Search Tips:

• Avoid using generic search terms like "elbow" or "paint. Instead, use "PVC elbow" or "exterior paint".
• Try brand names for targeted results, e.g., "Valspar exterior paint".
• Include item types + specifications, e.g., "toilet fill valve universal".
• Be careful when using incorrect term breaks when searching. An example is mailbox as opposed to mail box. The system sees mail box as two words and may result in inappropriate returns. Beware of misspellings!
  
  

2. Browse By Category

Head to the "Shop by Category" menu located at the top of every screen and choose the category that best matches your needs. Each category has a sub-category which will further refine your search.

Common Sub-Categories:

• Paint & Sundries > Paint > Brush On Paints and Enamels
• Farm & Ranch > Farm Equipment > Ag Sprayers and Fluid Supplies
• Hand Tools > Mechanics Tools > Pliers, Cutters & Keys
• Lawn & Garden > Lawn Power Equipment > Trimmer Accessories

Don't forget to use the search filters located on the left-hand menus to narrow your search even more by choosing the brand, size, material, color, etc. Each filter will lead to better results.

3. Use Brand Names

Using brand names can significantly improve your search results. Product is more often known by the brand name than the manufacturer name. An example of this is Blue Monster. Where Blue Monster is the brand name, Mill Rose is the manufacturer name. Because some know the product by both names, we try very hard to include both in the Brands list. We continually update the brand listing to make sure you get the results you deserve.

4. Use Breadcrumbs

A breadcrumb is a navigational aid in websites that show you exactly where you're located in the site. When you choose an item, the breadcrumb associated to it, is shown at the top of the item screen and shows you the category and sub-category the item is located in. When you select the sub-category breadcrumb of that item, it will show you all like items in that sub-category. Below is an example of a search done for exterior paint, an item selected from the search results, the breadcrumb location of that item, and the results of clicking on the sub-category breadcrumb associated to it. The example also includes the options of filters to the left of the items that can help you narrow your search even further.
