The SharkBite UC008LFA is a 1/2‑inch PEX barb coupling designed to join two equal‑sized PEX lines in potable‑water and hydronic‑heating systems. Manufactured from lead‑free DZR brass, this coupling provides outstanding corrosion resistance, long service life, and compliance with modern drinking‑water standards.

The UC008LFA installs using standard copper crimp rings or stainless‑steel clamp rings, offering a secure mechanical seal without solder, heat, chemicals, or adhesives. Its full‑flow internal bore ensures optimal system performance, minimizing pressure loss across the connection.
