The Cash Acme 22398LF VR20 vacuum relief valve is designed to protect hot water systems and pressure vessels from damaging negative pressure conditions. Installed on the cold water supply line, this valve automatically opens at 1 inch of mercury (Hg) vacuum, admitting air to break siphonage and prevent heater burnout or storage tank collapse.
