Usage & Preparation

  • Surfaces must be clean, dry or damp (not wet), and free of dirt, mildew, and loose wood fibers.
  • For best results, use Valspar® Wood Cleaner or All-In-One Wood Prep.
  • Stir thoroughly before and during use. Blend multiple containers for color consistency.
  • Apply to small sections (1–3 boards) at a time to avoid lap marks.
  • Avoid staining in direct sunlight or when rain is expected within 4 hours.
