  • Gaps exceeding one inch may be partially filled with mineral wool or the use of a suitable backing
  • Jaco firestopâ„¢ should not be used in continuously wet areas or dynamic expansion joints
  • Contact surfaces should be free of oil and loose debris
  • Openings larger than one inch can be partially filled with mineral wool or use a suitable backing material to maximize yield
  • Cures to a firm non-combustible thermal barrier
  • Jaco firestopâ„¢ is a water-based non-toxic compound which can be safely removed with soap and water prior to cure
  • Unopened containers are not affected by freeze/thaw cycles or seasonal storage up to 120 deg f and have an expected shelf life of one year
